Valarie Teppo

Owner

My name is Valarie Teppo, and I am the Principal Owner and Operations Manager of Design Studio 584 LLC. With more than 15 years of experience in residential construction, remodeling, and interior design, I have a passion for helping clients create spaces that are both beautiful and functional. I remain actively involved in many aspects of the business, from client consultations and design development to contractor coordination, vendor relationships, and installation oversight. Simply put, I wear many hats—and I genuinely enjoy every part of the process.

One of my greatest accomplishments has been building and leading an incredible women-owned and women-led team of talented designers and support staff. I am proud of the creativity, dedication, and expertise our team brings to every project, and I am grateful for the relationships we have built with our clients and industry partners over the years.

Outside of work, my greatest joy is spending time with my husband, Jon, our daughters, grandchildren, family, and friends. I love entertaining, creating welcoming spaces, and making memories with the people I care about most.

Travel is another passion of mine. I love exploring architecture, interiors, and design in different geographic locations, drawing inspiration from the unique character, history, and craftsmanship found around the world. Whether I'm visiting a bustling city, a charming coastal town, or touring innovative showrooms, I am always looking for fresh ideas that can inspire future projects.

My happy place, however, will always be the beaches of Maui—watching the whales, enjoying the ocean breeze, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Hello, my name is Ashley. I have been with my husband for 18 years, we have 2 beautiful kids who are our pride and joy! I have a love for all things design-from fashion to interior design I love to see things come together and look amazing! When I am not working, you can find me doing something fun with my family and friends!

Abby Nolley

Lead Designer

I fell in love with interior design at a very young age. I remember drawing out my room on an online program so I could see how it looked in many different arrangements. I believe that is what started my love for the drawing programs that I use daily. I started at Design Studio 584 shortly before graduating from Madison College in spring of 2021. I really enjoy taking client’s ideas and turning them into a reality and seeing how their face lights up when they see the final product. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, gardening, and going for walks with our dog.

Ryanne Adler

Designer

I joined Design Studio 584 in June 2024: a couple of weeks after getting my Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Interior Design. My passion for this job comes from when I was a little kid with an obsession with Legos. Brick by brick, piece by piece it is so exciting to see the final product with everything coming together. When I am not at work I can either be found spending time with family and friends, curled up on a couch with a hot chocolate and a good book, or trying to put a puzzle together.

Elise Strobel

Designer

With a Bachelor's degree in Interior Architecture and minors in Business and Art, I’m passionate about creating spaces that are both beautiful and functional. I enjoy guiding clients through the design process and selecting materials and finishes that reflect their style and support their everyday lives. Thoughtful design comes down to the details, and I strive to create spaces that feel cohesive, welcoming, and uniquely personal. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family, friends, and my dog, as well as traveling and exploring new places.
